After several years in clinical practice she gained a fellowship at Sorbonne University in Paris in the sub-speciality of Microsurgery and Hand Surgery.
She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the French Group for the Advancement of Microsurgery. Dr. Posso speaks regularly at national and international events and is a teacher in plastic surgery at the University of Antioquia.
