Hospital Medasist are based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and offer a comprehensive range of medical check-up packages for both men and women over the age of 35 to identify potential health issues.
Hospital Medasist are located in Puerto Vallarta and are one of the most respected health care providers in Mexico. Conveniently located on the south side of the city, this privately-owned hospital boasts a new intensive care unit, new surgery suites and its very own restaurant.
Hospital Medasist has their own in-house laboratory for both in and outpatient services. They also have an Emergency Room physician on site 24 hours a day and an international services coordinator who is available to assist patients every single step of the way.
All patient rooms are private, spacious and include air conditioning and satellite TV. The hospital is equipped with a state-of-the-art CAT scan machine, as well as ultrasound and other radiological equipment to ensure that patients receive the very best care possible.

April 2024Hospital Sumamente caro. Sus precios son excesivos en cada diagnostico de prueba. En Puerto Vallarta existe El Grupo Diagnosti-k dedicado a toda clase de Estudios de Laboratorio Clinicos e Imagenología de alta Tecnica cuyos precios al publico son mucho menores que los que carga excesivamente el Hospital MedAssist. Como ejemplos del costo en exceso de MedAssist arriba de Diagnosti-k, en mi caso, son: Ultrasonido doppler venoso unilateral $1500 pesos mas Dimeros D $1100 en exeso QUIMICA SANGUINEA (4) es $360 mas cara en MedAssist Prueba de INR cuesta $800 mas comparado con laboratorios en Ajijic, Jal. No segui comparando costos de otras pruebas clinicas; pero solo en lo mencionado arriba pague $3,760 pesos mas en una factura que incluyede todos los servicios hospitalarios de $9,942 pesos, en lugar de una factura que debiera haber sido de $6,282. Si tu caso medico no es de urgencia y tienes idea de tu caso, sugiero que vayas directamente a un grupo dedicado a diagnosticos medicos. El personal medico asistente fue muy amable y cordial, excepto por el departamento de facturacion. ==================== Extremely expensive hospital. Their prices are excessive for each test diagnosis. In Puerto Vallarta there is The Diagnosti-k Group dedicated to all types of Clinical Laboratory Studies and High Tech Imaging whose public prices are much lower than those excessively charged by the MedAssist Hospital. As examples of the excess cost of MedAssist above Diagnosti-k, in my case, are: Unilateral venous Doppler ultrasound $1500 pesos more D-dimers $1100 in excess BLOOD CHEMISTRY (4) is $360 more expensive at MedAssist INR test costs $800 more compared to laboratories in Ajijic, Jal. I did not continue comparing costs of other clinical tests; but only in what was mentioned above, I paid $3,760 pesos more in an invoice that includes all hospital services of $9,942 pesos, instead of an invoice that should have been $6,282. If your medical case is not urgent and you have an idea of your case, I suggest that you go directly to a group dedicated to medical diagnoses. The attending medical staff was very friendly and cordial, except for the billing department.

May 2022My husband and I have had to go to this facility on 4 different occasions. I am amazed at the difference in the care you receive here versus the U.S. I received attention as soon as I entered the ER. Saw the doctor immediately. This never happens in the U.S. My last trip was for a spiral facture of my left humerus. The brake occurred right under the metal shaft of a shoulder replacement. If it hadn't been for the way they braced my arm to stabilize it, I would not have been able to stand the pain. It seems to be healing really well in a special brace for the humerus bone. I highly recommend this facility. Top notch doctors, excellent care.
