Samitivej China town Hospital is a full-service private hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, offering emergency care, surgery, disease prevention, and specialty care in one setting. The hospital is located in the Chinatown area, which places it in a busy central district known for shops, food, hotels, and easy access to public transport.
The hospital’s services cover a broad range of medical needs. Departments and treatment areas include wellness check-ups, ear, nose and throat care, women’s health, surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine, neurology, kidney care, oncology, endocrinology, diabetes management, respiratory care, and gastrointestinal and liver services. In simple terms, this means patients can come here for both general health concerns and more specialized diagnosis or treatment.
For cosmetic and reconstructive care, the hospital also lists a large selection of procedures, including facelift options, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, chin and cheek procedures, breast surgery, tummy tuck, Vaser liposuction, arm lift, buttock surgery, and male breast reduction. This makes it suitable for patients who want a hospital setting rather than a small stand-alone clinic for surgical treatment.
The overall setup appears best suited to patients who value access to broader hospital support, especially if they want pre-op assessment, inpatient recovery, or the reassurance of a multi-specialty environment. That can be useful for medical travelers who are combining cosmetic surgery with general medical screening or who prefer a hospital-based team for more complex care.
The medical team includes Dr Poonpissamai Suwajo, Dr Ajchariya Sarovath, Dr Suchart Sudjaritrukse, Dr Supasid Jirawatnotai, and Dr Lek Kanjanakomut. The doctors' profiles show English- and Thai-speaking with qualifications in medicine, surgery, and plastic surgery.
The doctors are listed with Doctor of Medicine degrees and plastic surgery credentials through the Thai Medical Council. Dr Suchart Sudjaritrukse is listed with plastic surgery certification through the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Publicly available profile details for this page do not clearly state each doctor’s years of practice, so patients who want a more detailed experience profile for a specific procedure should confirm that directly before treatment.
Samitivej China town Hospital combines hospital-based medical care with cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Its wellness services include one-stop check-ups with health history review, lifestyle discussion, blood testing, and same-visit discussion of results. ENT care covers common issues such as ear infections, tinnitus, sinus concerns, sore throat, and snoring. Women’s health services include gynecology, obstetrics, cancer screening, colposcopy, biopsy, and LEEP, which is a procedure used to remove abnormal cervical tissue.
Other departments include orthopedics for bone and joint issues, neurology for conditions affecting the brain and nerves, kidney care including dialysis, oncology, respiratory medicine, and digestive care with imaging and endoscopy. For cosmetic patients, listed procedures range from facial surgery and breast surgery to body contouring and rhinoplasty.
Amenities listed for patients include free Wi-Fi, free drinking water, free parking, and wheelchair access. Review comments on the page are limited and older, but they repeatedly mention location, staff service, and a large hospital environment. Because this is a hospital rather than a small outpatient aesthetic center, the patient experience may range from short consultations to procedures that require a stay of several days and a longer recovery plan.
The hospital is located at 624 Yaowarat Road, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100, Thailand, in the Chinatown district. This is a practical location for visitors who want to stay in central Bangkok close to food, shopping, and city transport.
For many international patients, Suvarnabhumi Airport is the main arrival point. The drive to the hospital is roughly 27 to 35 minutes in typical conditions, although traffic can make it longer.
