I came in for a health check including blood tests X-rays and ultrasound. The staff and facilities were excellent. Particular praise for Doctor Songphon Maninithiwet who discussed my results with me. He explained everything very clearly in terms anyone can understand. His recommendations were realistic with good common sense advice. I highly recommend both Samui Bangkok hospital and also Dr Songphon.

Today I went to their ear doctor to clean my ears (got some wax stuck inside). The whole procedure took less than 3 minutes. Guess how much that cost? 3400 baht!!! ($100). Normally, this procedure costs 10 times less (as compared to other hospitals). I come back home and still can't hear clearly. I take a look inside my ear with my phone. And guess what - the wax is still there. (image attached, but not for the faint of heart). A few months ago I had to take my girlfriend there because she was sick. They REFUSED to give us the name of the medicine that the doctor prescribed, UNLESS we purchased it directly from the hospital. Later we compared the price with a local pharmacy - Bangkok Hospital's price was 3 (three) times higher. Stay away from this place.

Two days prior we went to another hospital here in samui where we were forced to wait and endure non optimal service in adition to a misdiagnosis. The next morning i got home to find my 8 month old baby dying and skin actually melting off. We immediately went to bangkok hospital and from the second we arrived we received 5 star service. The place is ultra clean and modern and staff fully caring and knowledable. We had the pleasure of dealing with Dr Pimmala Arrykul which is the head of the childrens unit. She immediately knew what was wrong and within 10 minutes tests were taken, medication provided and we were in our own room., we didnt wait or need to que for even a single second. We stayed 3 days, the staff are extremely loving, caring and professional. They checked on us ever single hour and were alwasy happy. The post therapy was 10 / 10 and considering what we got they are totally afforable.
