Dr Mark Sison is an English-speaking, highly-respected plastic surgeon at De Los Santos - STI Megaclinic, based in Metro Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. A Bachelor of Science graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in 1990 majoring in zoology, Dr Mark Sison went on to sit his medical degree in 1994. He served his five-year clinical internship at the Makati Medical Center and went on to general surgery residency in the same location between 1997 and 2002.

A return to the University of Santo Tomas in 2002 saw him serve his plastic surgery fellowship in 2005 when he was certified by the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr Sison is self-disciplined, dedicated and passionate about his work and on a personal quest to constantly improve and develop his knowledge. Cosmetic surgery offers modification to parts of the body you may find unappealing whereas plastic surgery (which incorporates reconstructive surgery) attempts to restore or rebuild parts of the body which may have been there since birth, for example, cleft lip/palate or as a result of an accident, burns or illness.
